A former manager of popular Nigerian musician 2face Idibia (also known as 2Baba), Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the singer was arrested in London after a disagreement with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
2face and Natasha, who is a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, travelled to the UK for his concert tour. However, he did not show up for a scheduled performance on October 2, 2025, which led to rumours that something had happened.
People later suspected he was arrested after the couple had a fight at the airport.
During an Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze on Monday, Kaka said the rumours were true.
According to him, the argument started shortly after they arrived in London. He said Natasha became angry because 2face stopped to talk to fans who took him into a store, and she felt he ignored her. When 2face noticed she was upset and had been left behind, he went back to meet her, and the situation became heated, eventually leading to his arrest.
Kaka and another former manager, Lori Tosan, claimed that this was not the first time such behavior had happened. They said they had witnessed similar emotional outbursts in the past and that police had almost been called before.
Lori added:
“From what happened at the airport, her reaction was extreme. That kind of behaviour is a red flag. I have seen her get angry very quickly. Even when we visited their apartment, she behaved the same way. We tried to calm her so police wouldn’t be called again.”
He also said:
“Sometimes artists express their struggles through their music. Anytime I hear 2face’s song ‘Save Me From Myself’, it sounds like a cry for help.”
However, during the live video, 2Baba joined the conversation and told his former managers to stop talking about his private life.
A video of the arrest shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, continues to spread online.
Pictures also posted online appear to show police officers talking to 2face outside a shop before taking him away.
